Glenns Ferry School District is accepting applications for a Transportation Director. This is a year round full time position with benefits included. Applicants are required to have or obtain at minimum Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement. Training can be provided if needed. Applicants should have a strong knowledge of diesel mechanics and CNG fueling systems. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, 60-day and annual inspections of bus fleet, repairs to bus fleet, reporting to the state department, scheduling trips, assigning drivers to trips, and training of bus drivers. Applicants must be able to effectively work and communicate with students, staff, and parents. Must be able to pass a background clearance, drug screening, and DOT physical. Salary is dependent on experience. Position open until filled.
