K-8 Teacher is a 1.0 FTE position located at Prairie Elementary in Prairie, Idaho. As the sole teacher you would be responsible for teaching all grade levels plus Art, Music, and Physical Education in a very small rural mountain school district. Classes are taught in a one classroom environment and the school is located in a small ranching community approximately 50 miles from Boise or Mountain Home, Idaho. All roads are unpaved, most are maintained mountain gravel roads.
Applicants must meet the job requirements set forth by the Prairie School District.
Background checks are required upon date of hire.
Salary is based upon 2020-2021 certified salary schedules.
Benefits include medical insurance, housing and some utilities. Retirement benefits are through PERSI.
Position is full-time and starting date is approximately August 17, 2020.Position does require some administrative duties.
