The position is currently on a 98-day contract or approximately two days each week. The Superintendent is also the Federal Programs Director. Mackay School District is a small rural district with approximately 230 students in two schools located on the same site. The superintendent will provide leadership and direction to district staff in an effort to provide a quality education for students enrolled in the district. Superintendent duties include: Instructional Leadership, Personnel Administration, Financial and Facilities Management, School and Community Relations, Board Responsibilities, Policy Development, and other duties as assigned and contracted. Successful experience in school administration and demonstrated leadership ability in working with students, staff, parents, and the public are required. Education required
Valid Idaho Education Credential in Education Administration with an endorsement for Superintendent or the ability to obtain the required credentials.
Experience required
Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in school administration.
