About this job

The Castleford School District is looking for a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional. The successful candidate will provide assistance to the special education teachers, assisting with the implementation of students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and will work with students with a variety of mild to sever physical, emotional, and learning disabilities. The position may work in various settings, such as one-on-one, small groups, or regular classroom groupings while pushing in to assist students. The position is directly supervised by the assigned Special Education Teacher with the overall supervision by the Director of Special Services. Education required

High School Diploma and/or Associates Degree (preferred) and/or a passing score on the ParaPro test with funding available for the candidate to take the test.
