Certification Requirements: Math 6-12
Successful candidate needs to be certified to teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus.

Garden Valley is a small rural school district in Idaho located in a beautiful valley about an hour from downtown Boise. Garden Valley School has an enrollment of about 265 students PK – 12, this offers teachers small class sizes and we are a 4 day-a-week school.

Performance Requirements
Included but not limited to the following:

•Must have the ability to differentiate instruction to ensure all students learn;
•Establishes and maintains cooperative and quality relationships with others: contributes to the development of a positive school climate;
•Abide by the Code of Ethics for the Teaching Profession as established by the Idaho State Board of Education, the Board Policies and procedures of the District and the terms and provisions of the Standard Teachers' Contract;
•Adhere to confidentiality with regard to student information;
•Establish and maintain good working habits including punctuality;
•Must be capable of accomplishing identified Performance Responsibilities;
•Must be able to communicate proficiently in English including both verbal and written communication with adults and students;
•The ability to speak and communicate clearly in lessons to students as well as communications with peers, supervisors, patrons, and parents/guardians.

Education required

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
or ABCTE Program with SDE
Student Teaching complete

Experience required

Preference given to applicants certified to teach:\
Algebra 1
Algebra 2
Geometry
Pre-Calculus
Calculus.
