Nampa Elevate Academy is looking to hire a School Counselor.
Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, this position will work with grades 6-12 and promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic and personal/social development for all students. Assist students with education planning, course selection, and adding and dropping courses

Education required

Bachelor's Degree required preferable in related field. Elevate can help with the teacher certification process.

Skills required

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Idaho State certification in teaching in the appropriate subject areas.• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.• Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.• Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program.• Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.• Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, and state.

Benefits

40,000-70,000 DOE
