About Us - Idaho Arts Charter School is an independent school district with two campuses located within two miles of each other. We serve over 1,200 students in grades K-12, with nearly 50% of our students qualifying for free/reduced lunch.

Job Title: School Cafeteria Associate
Location: Nampa, ID
Salary: $16.00/hr
Work Contract: 3-3.5 hrs/day - 2023-24 School Year

Position Summary - The School Cafeteria Associate will prepare and serve meals to students, as well as operate and clean equipment properly.
Minimum Requirements
*High School Diploma or GED
*Ability to read and understand measuring devices
*Ability to read and understand recipes and production records
*USDA Required Professional Standards, minimum of 6 hours of continuing education/training yearly and work toward obtaining SNA Certification Level 1, preferred
*Ability to communicate effectively with all school personnel
*Valid Idaho driver’s license
*Required criminal history background check, physical, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Major responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
*Assist in preparation of food as assigned
*Complete serving and cleaning duties as assigned
*Follow proper food handling to maintain food quality and ensure food safety
*Serve meals to adults and students through the line during service hours
*Use proper operation of equipment to assure safety and avoid damage to equipment
*Clean and sanitize all equipment properly
*Attend all required trainings and attain yearly professional standards training requirements
*Support the philosophy and mission of the District and the Child Nutrition Department
*Other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager and Director of Nutrition Services
