New to the District certified staff will have one additional paid day of training on August 22, 2022.

SALARY SCHEDULE
1.0 FTE position, Teacher’s Salary Schedule is available on the district website.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide appropriate individualized programs of therapy to students with speech and language needs. Evaluate students for possible speech, voice, and/or language impairments. Collaborate and consult with teachers and staff. Complete paperwork. Supervise instructional assistant paraprofessional staff.

Education required

Must hold or meet minimum requirements for an Idaho Pupil Personnel Services Certificate with a Speech-Language Pathologist K-12 endorsement as required by State Law and the State Board of Education. American Speech and Hearing Association Certification of Clinical Competence is desired. A teaching contract will not be issued until this credential is on file with the Moscow School District.

Experience required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous successful speech and language therapy experience.
