Position Summary
*The PowerSchool Administrator is responsible for the technical administration of PowerSchool, PowerTeacher Pro, PowerSchool customizations, and any additional PowerSchool modules as needed. They will assist and train school administrators, staff, students, and parents with using these tools. The PowerSchool Administrator should be skilled in analyzing user requirements and designing functional specifications for extending PowerSchool to include new functionality, such as enhanced reporting and data.
*This position will ensure the integrity of the SIS data and coordinate timely and accurate data reporting uploads to the Idaho System for Educational Excellence (ISEE) system.
*Responsible for the coordination and implementation of general tech support to staff, students, and parent, and technical support and repair of District devices.

Minimum Qualifications
*Student Information System management experience or capacity to learn required skills
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace applications, and computer operating systems preferred
*Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
*Valid Idaho identification
*Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Major responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
*Maintain the current PowerSchool and PowerTeacher Pro environments, including user accounts and security groups/roles, and recommend improvements in processes and workflows according to PowerSchool best practices.
*Plan, implement, and train for new releases and program updates.
*Create and maintain advanced reporting capabilities within PowerSchool.
*Create, maintain and implement Powerschool customizations and plugins.
*Monitor ongoing operations and data integrity and do periodic student data audits.
*Work with other school staff to align PowerSchool and PowerTeacher Pro parameters (system configurations) to academic and other policies.
*Maintain appropriate system documentation on procedures and configurations.
*Generates and uploads required ISEE data reporting.
*Application of IT troubleshooting best practices and methods.
*Coordinate with other professional staff members and participate in faculty meetings and committees.
*Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal as designated by the Executive Director and IT Director.


Salary: $35,000-$45,000/Year Depending on Experience
