VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTClark County School District #161 is seeking qualified candidates for a PART-TIME PARAPROFESSONAL AIDEfor the 2021-2022 School YearThe qualified candidates will work 2-3 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, with either elementary students or 6th-12th grade students, both are under the supervision of a classroom teacher. This a part-time position.JOB DESCRIPTION:Job location is at the Lindy Ross Elementary School or Jr/Sr High School in Dubois, IdahoReports to Title Director or SPED TeacherCandidate works with staff, parents, and children to accomplish educational and behavioral goalsAssists teacher in the classroomAssists in other areas when requestedQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredCandidate will have 30 or more college credits or be able to pass a qualifying testMaintains confidentiality of student informationAbility to work well with others including staff, students and parentsAbility to work with a variety of age groupsStrong English Language SkillsEmployment is conditional upon passing background investigation.
