QUALIFICATIONS1. At least two years of college level coursework or an Associate’s Degree in education or related field2. Previous aide or teaching experience preferred3. Knowledge of child growth and development and appropriate classroom practices4. Demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities5. Knowledge of subject matters and ability to instruct students at the direction of the teacher6. Knowledgeable with word processing, data bases, spread sheets, and reports7. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment8. Works well with students, staff, and the public9. Excellent organizational skills10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills11. Able to work under pressure and deadlines12. Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
