The Melba School District is seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach.

Head Coaching Requirements:

• Knowledge of the fundamental skills and techniques
• Ability to motivate students
• Successful ability to work with parent groups, administrators, staff and students
• Commitment to the development of the sportsmanship in players and coaches
• Successful personality and character traits appropriate to leadership of the team
• Successful ability to organize and maintain positive communication with the community
• Organize and run a summer camp for youth to promote the high school program
• Work with admin and other coaching staff to hold open gym sessions prior to the season
• Create and head up fund raising opportunities for the basketball program
