VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTSalmon School District 291 is seeking an K-8 Teacher Starting the 2022- 2023 school year (approx. 157 days). The job location is at the Pioneer Elementary School. The Teacher will work four days a week, Monday through Thursday 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with one 4-hour teacher workday per month. The position is fully benefitted to include health insurance, PERSI retirement, and many voluntary benefit options. Salary depends on years of experience and degree. JOB DESCRIPTION•Teaching on average 25 elementary students in the classroom. Grade level to be determined.•Familiar with PBIS/SWPBIS – positive behavior interventions and supports.•Quality instruction through lesson plan development and strategies.•Establishes effective classroom management and safety procedures as well as behavior expectations.•Supports Special Education students by implementing IEP and 504 plans.•Participates in district professional development activities.QUALIFICATIONS:•Idaho Teaching certificate, or ability to gain one, with All Subjects K-8 Standard endorsement.•Able to pass background check.
