VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Salmon School District 291 is seeking a Certified Standard Pre-K Elementary Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The teacher will work 157 days, four days a week, Monday through Thursday 7:45 a.m.to 4:30 p.m., with one 4-hour teacher workday per month. This is a fully benefitted position to include health insurance, retirement, and many voluntary benefit options. Salary is dependent on experience and credits.JOBDESCRIPTIONSalmon School District staff offer a safe learning environment for our students to grow and achieve.Teaching an average class size of 25 students in collaboration with other teachers.Familiar with PBIS/SWPBIS – positive behavior interventions and supports.Quality instruction through lesson plan development and strategies.Establishes effective classroom management and safety procedures as well as behavior expectations.Supports Special Education students by implementing IEP and 504 plans.Participates in district professional development activities. QUALIFICATIONS:Idaho Teaching certificate, or ability to gain one, with applicable K-8 Standard Elementary, All Subjects Endorsement.Able to pass background check. (Fingerprints and background check are at the expense of the applicant).Strong background in curriculum and state standards.Excellent public relations and communications skills.Works well with students, staff and the public.Strong background in the integration of technology with instruction.
