Meadows Valley School is a small K-12 school with a four day week and an average of 160 students, in the heart of Idaho. Located 12miles from McCall and 35 miles from Riggins, our area is a great location to enjoy many year-round recreational opportunities. In this job, you will provide counseling for K-12 students that will assist them to develop increased personal growth, self-understanding, and maturity. Counsel individuals and groups, and teach social-emotional learning. Create and maintain digital learning plans for college and career-bound students. Connect students and families to resources. Maintain a well-functioning office. Create and maintain a digital master schedule that works for student schedules and credit requirements. Have knowledge of state and federal testing procedures and requirements and assist with testing. Support SEL and PBIS programs through training staff and teaching lessons to students.

Hold a Pupil Personnel Services Certificate with a Counselor Endorsement (K-12)Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Knowledge of computerized master schedule development.Knowledge of state and federal testing procedures and requirementsAdditional endorsements preferredAbility to counsel individuals and groups, teach social-emotional learning.Work well with staffStrong computer, written, and oral communication skills
