The Richfield School District is seeking a K-12 Health and Physical Education Teacher. There may also be possible coaching positions available. The Richfield School District is a four-day school week school and receives tremendous parental and community support and involvement. Our certified teachers are on a 170-day contract; our salary schedule is based on the Career Ladder for the State of Idaho. Salaries for certified staff ranged from a minimum of $40,000 to $52,000 this school year and should increase for the coming year. We also offer a very competitive benefit package which includes medical, dental, life and disability insurance. Five paid holidays, sick and personal leave as well as PERSI retirement. The district will reimburse every certified staff member $300 annually for professional development or continuing education, and up to an additional $1500 per year to add endorsements or advanced degrees. Teachers are also reimbursed for recertification fees.
Applicants will need a Valid Idaho teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements or plans to apply for an Idaho teaching certificate and /or proper endorsements; and pass the State Idaho/FBI Background Check.
