The Hansen School District is accepting applications for a K-12 counselor. We seek an innovative individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for education who can balance the demands of managing counseling duties for students in grades K-12. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with overall building leadership, promoting a positive work and learning environment, and oversight of the McKinney-Vento program.

Desired Qualifications
·         Applicants must hold or be able to attain a valid Idaho pupil personnel services certificate with a counseling endorsement (K-12).
·         Broad knowledge of theories of individual and group guidance techniques, secondary school guidance program design, and career educational information
·         Knowledge of state and federal testing procedures and requirements
·         Strong background in the use of technology
·         Relates extremely well to students
·         Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with students, parents, staff, and community groups and organizations
·         Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
·         Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
·         Maintain confidentiality of staff and students

This is a full-time position. Salary will be determined based on education, experience, and agreed-upon roles.
