POSITION TITLE: IT Audio / Visual and Data Liaison

REPORTS TO: IT Department Leads

COLLABORATES WITH: All departments within the school

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The IT Audio / Visual and Data Liaison will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our school's technological capabilities. This position will primarily be working with the various types of audio and visual equipment used on the Bishop Kelly campus daily, at athletic competitions, and special events.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide Tier 2 technical support to all employees and students.
-Ability to resolve complex issues and escalate critical problems as needed.
-Set up and tear down audio-visual equipment for various events and meetings.
-Operate audio-visual equipment and provide on-site technical support at events and meetings when needed.
-Maintain and update video boards throughout the campus, ensuring current and relevant information is displayed.
-Work with other members of the IT Department in maintaining equipment, rostering, inventory, electronic books, data management, etc.
-Communicate as necessary with the Athletic Director and Director of Buildings and Grounds to ensure the IT Department is aware of all athletic competitions and events taking place on campus and their A/V needs.
-Assist in the development of tier 0 support and process documentation.
-Work with Parents, Students, and Volunteers to operate A/V equipment.
-Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
-An associate's degree or greater is a plus.
-Knowledge of audio-visual equipment is preferred.
-Ability to work alone or as part of a group.
-Strong technical skills and proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues quickly and accurately.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong commitment to accuracy.
-Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
-Flexible schedule and able to work nights and weekends.
Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

Length of Employment:
This is a salaried position.

Schedule:
This position is year-round. Scheduled hours are 1 pm - 9 pm with flexibility based on need to work some mornings and weekends during the school year. Summertime hours, M-F, 8-4 with flexibility to work some nights and weekends.
