JOB GOAL
Promote the education development of each student through utilizing leadership, supervisor and administrative skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (or other duties assigned by Superintendent or Board):
Develop a program of public relations in order to further the community’s understanding and support of the educational program
Implement board policies and administrative rules and regulations relating to the school
Consult with and coordinate the services of resource/auxiliary personnel to enable classroom teachers to receive maximum assistance
Prepare or supervise preparation of reports, records, lists and all other paperwork required or appropriate to the school’s administration
Cooperate with college and university officials regarding student teacher training and preparation
Assist in the recruiting, screening, hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating the school’s professional staff
Maintain high standards of student conduct and enforce discipline as necessary with regard to due process of the rights of students
Recommend the removal of a teacher whose work is unsatisfactory, according to district procedure
Administer the summer school program when applicable
Formulate and enforce procedures and schedules for safe, organized loading and unloading of school buses at respective school sites
Perform such other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned by the superintendent
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Master’s degree with appropriate administration endorsement
Meet state certification requirements
Three years experience as a classroom teacher at the secondary level
Such alternatives as the board may find appropriate and acceptable
Desired
Four years of teaching experience as a classroom teacher at the secondary level
Three years experience in secondary school administration
All recommendations for hire are tentative offers. Employment is contingent upon board approval, and successful completion of a federal background check and drug-free workplace pre-employment screening.

Benefits
Reports To: Director of Secondary ProgramsFLSA Status: Exempt, 11 month year (salary as per administrator’s salary schedule, one sick day per month, and three personal leave days/year).Salary Range: Per district administrative salary schedule, starting at $90,251 (base + MA)
