Facilities:

New Athletic Complex: Our new athletic complex includes a full 8-lane track and graded football field.
Three Gyms: We have three well-equipped gyms designed to host multiple sports and physical education activities.
New Weight Room: Our recently expanded weight room features the latest equipment to support strength and conditioning programs for our students.
Extensive Outdoor Fields: Practice field, track and field area.

Responsibilities:

Teach physical education classes at both the high school and middle school levels.
Continue to develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
Coach various sports teams, providing training, strategy, and mentorship.
Oversee the athletic department, including scheduling, budget management, and compliance with school and state athletic regulations.
Coordinate with other staff to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
Organize and help maintain a clean and orderly facility.
Engage with the community to build support for school athletic programs and events.
Organize and supervise school sports events, tournaments, and competitions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Teaching certification for the state of Idaho.
Proven experience in teaching PE and coaching multiple sports at the middle or high school level.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for promoting physical health and a positive school culture.

Education required
