The Melba School District is seeking a Full Time Food Service Employee

This position is full time Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the school year. Benefit package includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with a low copay to add dependents. Additional benefits include Life Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance and retirement with PERSI. Starting wage is $10.62 per hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sanitize tables and lunchroom between groups and end of day
• To perform dishwashing and cleaning tasks that promote the food service program in accordance with federal and state law, administrative rules, and Board policy regarding health, safety, and cleanliness.
• To assist the cook in preparing and serving students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth in harmony with state and federal guidelines.
• Arrive and leave school at designated times
• Performs duties as assigned by the supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. Must pass a Background Check
