About the Bruneau - Grand View School District
On April 8, 1957, Albert Black, a school board member, offered to provide the school district enough ground for the Bruneau Elementary School. The present school was built on the same ground the former elementary school was built on. In 1973 a bond was passed to build the present Rimrock Jr./Sr. High School on a 40-acre site midway between Grand View and Bruneau. Rimrock opened in 1976.
