Butte County School District #111 has an opening for an elementary physical education teacher for the 2024-25 school year at Arco Elementary School. There may be opportunity to teach a weight lifting class or other PE related electives.


The position involves curriculum and lesson planning, delivering content instruction, working with students in whole class and small group settings, monitoring student progress, modifying instruction to address learning shortcomings, and setting learning goals with students. Pay is dependent on the applicant’s career ladder placement. Benefits are included.

Academic Qualifications:
The qualified applicant needs to have, or be in the process of completing his or her Idaho Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in K-8 Elementary, All Subjects.


Supplemental Information: Arco is a small community in the high desert offering a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, hiking, ATV trails, and other recreational outdoor activities. The district has 191 students in grades K-12 with approximately 22-25 students in each grade K-12. This district is on a four-day school week.
