Education Assistant -Must be highly qualified by: 1- Completed 2 years of college accumulating 32 hours of academic credit, with an Associate's degree, or 2- Pass a Praxis para-educator assessment.Job Duties: Listed but not limited to...Work with classroom teachers to develop specific programs to help with the instruction of below grade level students.Work individually and with small groups of students in an instructional capacity in language arts, reading, math, and behaviors.Carry out instructional programs designed by the teacherParticipate in meetings, training, and conferences when appropriateMaintain necessary records to comply with measuring of student's progress.Supervise children in hallway, cafe, playground, and all areas of the school settingAssist in handling crisis problems and behavior managementPerform such other duties as assigned.Added benefits come with this position.Send Resume and qualifications to spratt@rhpcs.org or call 208-939-5400
