Fruitland School District is accepting applications for an ESL Teacher. The ESL Teacher will implement ESL program instruction that leads to English language fluency in both conversational and academic situations. The ESL Teacher will also
1. Support administration of state assessment
2. Assist staff with implementation of ESL learning strategies; serve as a resource/consultant to staff as needed.
3. Participate in multiple-disciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, etc., as needed
4. Implement ELD curriculum
5. Assess and articulate progress in reading, writing, speaking and listening
6. Maintain student database, records, ELP's and all required paperwork

Education required

Applicants must hold proper certification or be eligible to hold proper Idaho Certification.

Benefits

Salary is determined by placement on the state Career Ladder – 2022-23 range -- R1, $40,742 to AP3, $55,389.
Additionally, employees with a professional endorsement or an advanced professional endorsement plus 24 credits beyond BA will receive $2,000, or employees with a professional endorsement or an advanced professional endorsement plus a Master’s degree will receive $3,500.
