Curriculum Director/Instructional Coach
Oneida School District is seeking a motivated, experienced educator to serve as the district
Curriculum Director/Instructional Coach.
The Curriculum Director will provide leadership and vision in the ongoing planning,
implementation, development, direction, review, and evaluation of the district’s curriculum.
The director will also establish and lead our district curriculum adoption committee.
This position will also include part-time instructional coaching duties. The Instructional Coach
will focus on individual and group professional learning that will expand and refine the
understanding about researched-based effective instruction for teachers. To meet this purpose,
the Instructional Coach will provide personalized, 1:1 support based on the goals and identified
needs of individual teachers.
This is a full-time position with benefits (Monday through Thursday) on site in Oneida School
District #351. This position is open until filled.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree from an accredited college/university.
2. Minimum of 10 years of successful teaching experience.
3. Current Idaho teaching or administrator license.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and Idaho content standards K-12.
5. Previous coaching, teaching leadership, or curriculum leadership experience.
6. Deep knowledge of and experience in:
a. Research-based curriculum and instructional strategies
b. Conditions of learning
c. Assessment driven instruction (teaching/learning process)
7. Ability to design and deliver quality professional development for teachers and
administrators.
8. Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for building strong
relationships and functioning as a positive member of a team.
9. Demonstrated ability to communication in a professional manner both orally and in
writing.
10. Ability to organize, oversee, and support a curriculum adoption process and committee.
