Minimum Qualifications: Idaho teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement(s) or the ability to obtain the proper endorsement(s) via a state program. Strong background in teaching methods, developmentally appropriate classroom activities, and effective classroom management. Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and effective teaching methods. Strong background in the integration of technology with instruction. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Work well with students, staff and the public. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug
screening.

Special Instructions: Orofino Junior-Senior High School is looking for a Career and Technical Education instructor who will expand student learning opportunities, provide training, facilitate community partnerships, and obtain resources. This individual will possess the ability to obtain Idaho Teaching Credentials and/or possess skills in the areas such as but not limited to Work-Based Learning, Ecology and Resource Management, Pre-
Engineering Technology, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Engine Mechanics, Construction Management, Business, and Marketing. This is
a new position at OJSHS so this individual must be a self-starter who has the ability to form strong student relationships while constructing a
curriculum that fits the needs of students, the workforce, and develops partnerships with businesses and local trade school colleges, and
universities. The individual hired may also be asked to work on JSD #171 projects to expand programs for all students within our district
while pursuing funding from multiple sources to better serve our students and community.

Salary: Contingent based on education and experience.

Benefits: Employee medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage paid 100% by the district. Family benefits paid at 80% coverage. $20,000 employee life insurance and $2,000 dependent life insurance paid by the district.
