JOB GOAL
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, provide leadership in developing, achieving, maintaining, and improving educational programs and services; assist in interpreting district philosophy, policies, and programs to staff, students, and the community; supervise and coordinate all Federal Program areas; perform the duties of acting superintendent in the absence of the superintendent or as the board requests.


QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
Ed Specialist Degree
Minimum of six years of successful experience in education of which two years have been in school administration
Meet state certification requirements
Sound decision-making skills, aptitude for problem solving, proficiency in planning and organizing, strong work ethic
Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Such alternatives as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Desired
Doctorate degree
Eight years of educational experience of which four years involved in school administration


Salary Range: $117,014, depending on level of education and administrative experience
