DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES
 Work with teachers on a daily basis by observing, modeling, advising, team teaching, and modeling demonstration lessons.
 Demonstrate and support the use of curriculum based instruction and grading as promoted within the Jerome School District.
 Demonstrate an understanding of research and best practices in instructional pedagogy and help teachers learn and apply it in the classroom.
 Demonstrate an understanding of how the research on instruction aligns within the Sheltered Instructional Observation Protocol (SIOP) instructional model, and be able to train/coach teachers to apply it in the classroom.
 Coach teachers in improved instructional practices and classroom interventions.
 Assist teachers in self evaluation of teaching practices.
 Use data to help teachers make decisions about what and how to improve the instructional design.
 Facilitate learning teams, workshops, collaborative lesson design sessions or other activities that are intended to help teachers learn how to improve instruction.
 Assist in the administration in other activities that involve improved instruction.
 Provide generalized reports of progress to administration.
 Other duties as requested by administrative team, including specific collaboration and consultation when needed.
