VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTClark County School District #161 is seeking qualified candidates for a Elementary Teacher- Grade 4 for the 2024-2025 School Year starting January 6, 2025The Teacher will be part of a team that works with a total of 50-60 students in Lindy Ross Elementary School. The teacher will work approximately four days a week,M-TH 7:30 to 4:30, with an occasional workday or in-service on a Friday. This is a fully benefited position to include health insurance, PERSI retirement, and many voluntary benefit options.JOB DESCRIPTION:Job location is at the Lindy Ross Elementary School, 526 S. Oakley St., Dubois IdahoTeach students in 4th grade-possible movement to other grades in upcoming years.Develops strategies for maintaining a classroom environment conductive to effective learning.Utilizes effective teaching methods and employs a variety of instructional techniques appropriate to thematurity, interest, and needs of the students.Quality instruction through lesson plan development and strategies.Supports Special Education students by implementing IEP and 504 plans.Participates in district professional development activities.QUALIFICATIONS:Idaho Teaching certificate, or ability to gain one, with K-8 endorsement (multiple endorsements a plus).Able to pass background check.
