Payette Primary School - 21st Century Kindergarten Grant - Instructor

1 Full-time position available.


The Payette School District is seeking a classroom instructor to meet the needs of kindergarten age students participating in the 21st Century Learning Program at Payette Primary School.

21st Century Grants provide opportunities for academic enrichment. Including providing tutorial services to help students meet the challenging State academic standards by offering students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities, such as youth development activities, service learning, nutrition and health education, drug and violence prevention programs, counseling programs, arts, music, physical fitness and wellness programs, technology education programs, mathematics, science, that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students.


~Facilitate the education of students.
~Cover recess, lunch and other duties.
~Prepare lessons, make copies, and manage several students throughout day.
~Must be highly organized and have excellent communication skills.
~Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
~Ability to speak Spanish is preferable, but not required
~Physical capability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
~Bending, squatting, crouching, and other bodily movements required daily.
~Self-motivated, positive personality, and able to collaborate with a team.


Salary based on experience and skills. Position qualifies for benefits which include health, dental, vision and life insurance; PERSI retirement, paid vacation as well as access to optional ancillary insurance and retirement products.


This position shall be considered in all respects “employment at will”.
