Job Title: Afterschool Program Aide Program: 21st CCLC at Juliaetta Elementary Reports to: Lead Teacher & 21st CCLC Director Position Summary The primary purpose of the Afterschool Program Aide is to assist the Lead Teacher in day-to-day operations. This person may complete supportive work, such as organizing paperwork, photocopying, and preparing and producing materials used in instruction. They may also be required to assist with light cleaning duties and assist with homework. This person will report to and work with the Lead Teacher and Director to handle all emergencies and student issues that occur during the program hours. Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Supervise students in the classroom and play times.• Lead and/or assist age-appropriate and enriching activities.• Greet parents, guardians, and volunteers.• Attend Professional Development opportunities. Qualifications• High School diploma or equivalent• Highly qualified paraprofessional Skills & Abilities• Knowledge of 21st Century Community Learning Center Programs.• Good communication, problem solving, and priority setting skills as well as maintaining an overall positive and professional attitude /disposition.• Ability to effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities.• Must be able to manage confidential information. Schedule• Monday – Thursday 3:00-5:30
